Film Making Garage Band
February 6th, 2005I’ve been discussing my idea for producing a micro-budget film with people who making independent films in the Portland, Or. Metro area, mostly people met through Craigs List. One of the things I’m finding out is there are a lot of stories of people burned by false expectations, unrealistic promises and failed projects. I would rather create a circle of friends that enjoy the process and seek the experience for fun of creating art without promising a million dollar runaway hit. Really I think we will be an association of like-minded, talented people wanting a collaborative creative outlet. This association will mutually benefit all of its Members with rewarding experience and plain fun. And maybe… it can even outlast this one project.
