Admin or Art… What to do?

So much to do and not enough time! This week we welcome Ted Gocek to our Artistic Design Team. We have been in contact with many potential members for our Artstic Design Team as well as the Creative Direction Team. Keeping up with the emails and writing thoughtful responses to all of them has become a huge task. There is more clean up and updating to do to the website but I don’t have time this week. We have begun announcing to new members our 20 member milestone plan for running the club. Once we hit 20 member a 5 person board of directors will be elected and the final decision making authority will be handed over to them. Stay tuned for more later…

Teams not titles

We welcomed Jonathan Murphy to our Artistic Design Team this week. We have changed recruiting and organization strategy. Instead of recruiting for a specific position we are now recruiting for team members. New people are joining us as either Artistic Design Team, Creative Direction Team, Production Management Team and Cinematography Team Members. Specific positions will be determined as the teams mature. Our first stab at assigning concept art was to divide all of the known subjects and assign to our artists to develop independently. Since then we have collaborated on a new process in which we announce a weekly theme with a group of characters or locations and split up the subjects which are related among our artists so we can design more collaboratively. The script has been updated. The script will continue to be revised as we move to drafting a shooting script to facilitate our story boarding process. Our art team has been considering the possibility of using practical miniatures in combination with CGI as planned for visual effects. We currently project that the pre-production phase will continue until August, 2006.
