One week ago we welcomed Jill Mulligan to our Art Team and Anthony Bjerke to our Direction Team. We have shortened the names of our four collaborative teams to the:
Art Team
Direction Team
Cinematography Team
Management Team

Our Direction team is almost through the first round of “Directors review,” with a set of revision notes to address in order to execute our collaborative vision of this film. The Art Team is producing a 3D model of a palace from the story using photographs of actual buildings from Downtown Portland as a basis for development. They are also illustrating some final characters so we can create a concept sketch packet for all our members participating in the storyboard process projected to begin in November.

Two weeks ago we welcomed Tyler Benjamin to our Cinematography Team. Tyler is currently advising on our Creative Direction Team until we get into storyboards and 3D pre-visualization animatics.  The Art Team has come to the end of our initial concept art phase. We have enough understanding of locations and characters to be able to sketch rough story boards. The Creative Direction Team is 50 pages into the first round of script analysis. We believe the start on story boards will be delayed until the beginning of November. Until story boards the art team will be experimenting with our preproduction process using selected key designs. We will wait to flush out additional detailed concept art until we have story boards specifying the exact location views that will need to be rendered in the final movie.
